Echo Valley Ski & Tubing Area is a volunteer, non-profit ski resort located in the Lake Chelan area of Washington State resort founded over 60 years ago (1955 to present). It is the place for winter recreation in the Lake Chelan valley. Families have been skiing at Echo Valley for several generations and visitors to the valley love our family friendly atmosphere. From skiing to snow tubing, it's all here at Echo Valley.
Facilities include three rope tows, a 1,400 foot Poma Lift. We offer ski/snowboard instruction & rentals for all ages & abilities. The base area has a day lodge & eatery with a roaring log-sized fireplace to warm the toes while enjoying the food concession, Terri's Treats! Piping hot breakfast & lunch with lots of variety to please the entire family. Come on up and enjoy lunch by the fire, while sipping on some hot chocolate.
Echo Valley's Family Ski Area also provides a 4 lane tubing hill. If you've inner tubed on snow before, you know just how much fun it is. Echo Valley's snow tubing area is great for all ages and family members. We supply the special tubes. Please do not bring your own.
Echo Valley is a Lions Club Sponsored activity. The Lake Chelan Lions Club was chartered in 1935 and has served our valley for over 80 years.They raise funds to support our local needs: Sight and hearing efforts to insure our kids have the best chance at a good education, Christmas grocery gift cards to our less fortunate seniors, support for Echo Valley Ski Hill and the area Guide Dogs for the Blind, Diabetes Camp for kids, trade scholarships for our high school seniors, and many other large and small efforts that make our valley thrive. To support their activities they put on the highly anticipated annual Golf Tournament, Christmas wreath and tree sales, St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Shuffle Fun Run, and other sales and events.
